Get Set Go English - About Me

Catherine Jones Get English Language Lessons Teacher Tutor
Catherine Jones,
Owner, Course Director, and Teacher

"I have language degree and a background in business analysis and project management. A human resources role led me into training where I discovered a passion for the classroom. After completing the Cambridge CELTA qualification, I taught in both the UK and South East Asia. A senior teaching position and subsequent course coordinator role allowed me to combine my teaching and management skills.

I've been teaching English and running language courses for 11 years now and have refined my courses, materials, and teaching methods along the way.

My objective is to create key breakthrough moments for the student and I have an approach which ensures accelerated progress throughout the learning journey.

I am a meticulous planner and highly pragmatic in everything I do. As a teacher, I am best described as enthusiastic and encouraging."

"Thank you for being with us for this intensive period. You've been a credit and a benefit to us all. We'll keep in touch to continue cooperation in a variety of ways."

We didn't have any doubts about your professionalism but this period allowed discovery of personal and emotional attitudes and approach to life."
